Brophy College Prep Project
The crucifix hanging in the Great Hall Of Brophy Prep was handcarved in wood dating from about 1670 and was found in the Monks Cemetary at Evaux near Montelucon, France. It was a gift of the Jesuits in France to the Jesuits at Brophy Prep. Upon arrival it was very fragile, distressed and weathered. In 2009 Matlosz Antiques restored it to its original condition.
